We check the organiser's identity (NRC or ID), the genuineness of the cause, supporting evidence such as medical reports, school invoices or burial confirmations, and references from a family member, church leader, school, hospital or community official.
Most causes are reviewed within 2 to 3 working days. Cases involving large goal amounts or institutional partners may take up to 5 working days for thorough confirmation.
Approved causes appear on the Browse Causes page with a green Verified badge and verification date. Organisers receive a confirmation email and a shareable link.
Causes with unverifiable identity, missing supporting evidence, suspected duplication, or incompatibility with our community guidelines may be rejected. Rejection reasons are always communicated in writing.
Organisers may appeal by submitting additional evidence to nimwenaine@gmail.com. An appeal is reviewed by a separate team member to ensure fairness.
